This is Shikha, welcome to my website. 

I am a recent graduate from the University of Chicago with a Masters in Digital Studies of Language, Culture, and History, an interdisciplinary degree that integrates tools from data science into the humanities. I am a firm believer in intersectional education, which breaks down traditional boundaries between disciplines, recognizing their interconnectedness and mutual dependence in shaping holistic knowledge.

My academic journey has been guided by this belief, fostering a deep appreciation for the symbiotic relationships between diverse forms of knowledge. This perspective has enriched my understanding of how different disciplines contribute collaboratively to our understanding of language, culture, and history, and their profound impact on society.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I am passionate about exploring the intersection of AI, humanities, and cultural analytics. I am particularly interested in leveraging AI to enhance our insights into human communication and cultural dynamics, bridging traditional and computational approaches in linguistics and cultural studies.

Outside of academia, I have dedicated myself to the non-profit education sector, focusing on initiatives that empower underprivileged children. I am committed to advocating for social causes, particularly those related to women's and children's education, aiming to make a meaningful impact through education and empowerment. Outside of my professional endeavors, I am an enthusiastic reader, painter, and writer. I find joy in exploring diverse literary genres, expressing creativity through art, and delving into philosophical and spiritual literature.
